Louisiana AAP Foundation

About the Foundation: The Louisiana AAP Foundation was established on October 8, 2002 and is incorporated as a non-profit organization located in Baton Rouge. Its purpose is to address educational needs of pediatric health care providers; to educate parents and citizens regarding pediatric health concerns; and to conduct education-related projects related to pediatric health.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation, please send a check made payable to the Louisiana AAP Foundation to P.O. Box 64629  Baton Rouge, LA  70896    

Scholarship/ Grant opportunities available:   The Louisiana AAP Foundation offers three types of grants each year to Residents and Pediatric Programs. Each grant is available between July 1st and June 30th. To apply for any of the grants, please send correspondence to Ashley Politz at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   • Resident International Scholarship
    Two, $500 grants are available each year to help residents who choose to study abroad.
  • Resident Activities Grant
    Four, $500 grants are available each year.  Each Residency program is allowed to apply for one grant.
  • Pediatric Interest Group Grant
    Four, $500 grants are available each year.  Each Residency program is allowed to apply for one grant.
