Effective January 1, 2022, the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME) is requiring all physician licensees to use CE Broker to track their CME credits for license renewal. Licensees are expected to fulfill their CME requirements in full and these hours must be documented in a CE Broker transcript. No one will be allowed to renew if the CE Broker tracking system does not show the proper number of credits for renewal.
Therefore, beginning January 1, 2022, the Louisiana Chapter of AAP will no longer issue CME certificates. Attendees participating in CME activities hosted by the Louisiana Chapter of AAP will have their CME credits automatically uploaded into CE Broker system after each activity.
For jointly sponsored activities with Louisiana organizations, a completed attendance template will be required for each activity in order for attendee CME credits to be uploaded into the CE Broker system.
