LA AAP Chapter Business Luncheon

A staple of the Pediatrics from the Parishes Conference, the Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics Business Luncheon is a must attend experience that brings together pediatric leaders, partners, and members from across the state for a dynamic and engaging program.

This highly anticipated gathering offers attendees the opportunity to hear directly from chapter leadership and key partners on impactful initiatives, meaningful progress, and the priorities shaping the future of child health in Louisiana.

Designed to both inform and inspire, the luncheon creates a welcoming space to connect with colleagues, expand your network, and discover how you can play a more active role in the chapter’s work.

After a full day of learning and collaboration at Pediatrics from the Parishes, the White Linen Party is where the conversations continue—and where meaningful connections begin.

Cher Du Coeur Awards Gala

Gala is included for 3-day tickets and can be added on for guests and one-day attendees.

The Cher du Coeur: Award Gala is the signature evening celebration of Pediatrics from the Parishes—an unforgettable night where excellence in Louisiana pediatrics takes center stage.

Following their introduction at the business luncheon, this year’s two Master Pediatricians will be formally honored in a setting that reflects the impact of their careers and their commitment to children across our state. Each recipient will deliver a compelling 25-minute lecture, offering insight, inspiration, and the kind of clinical wisdom that only decades of dedicated service can provide. The evening culminates with the presentation of the Cher du Coeur Awards, a moment that recognizes not only individual achievement, but the collective strength of our pediatric community.

The Gala is also a celebration of what’s next. Resident Poster Award winners will be announced, spotlighting the innovation and research shaping the future of child health in Louisiana. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to support the mission of the LA AAP through a silent auction and dedicated fundraising efforts that advance advocacy, education, and professional development statewide.

And while the purpose is meaningful, the atmosphere is electric. Live music, a night of dancing, and an elegant setting make this a can’t-miss event. Guests are encouraged to dress in evening wear—long dresses, formal jumpsuits, or suits—to match the occasion.
