The Obesity & Nutrition Committee of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (LA AAP) is committed to promoting healthy growth and development for children across the state by addressing the critical issues of childhood obesity and nutrition.
This committee is made up of pediatricians and healthcare professionals who care deeply about helping kids grow up healthy. They focus on prevention, education, and proven strategies to support better lifestyles for Louisiana’s youth. Whether it's through advocacy, connecting with local communities, or sharing knowledge with fellow providers, the committee is committed to giving both families and healthcare teams the tools they need to encourage lifelong healthy habits and create brighter futures for children across the state.
