Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics Vaccine Awareness Poll
In recent years, the issue of whether or not to vaccinate children and/or adults has become somewhat controversial. To determine what true public opinion is about vaccinations among Louisianaians, the Louisiana chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (LA AAP) engaged JMC Analytics and Polling to conduct a 16 question survey.
There are three main takeaways from this survey: (1) in nearly every question, respondents demonstrated solid support for vaccinations, (2) there was a minimal gender and/or racial gap in terms of strength of support, and (3) in multiple instances, support for vaccinations was stronger among younger respondents.
